Earlier this week, the DataPortability WorkGroup was sent a Cease and Desist order by Red Hat to stop using their logo. Opting to take the high road, Chris Saad and the crew decided to hold a logo contest to rebrand the DataPortability WorkGroup. To show our support and to get the prize bandwagon moving, Jive was the first to donate a prize, which was an iPhone. Since then, the prize list has grown to an impressivly long list of goodies, such as:
iPhone from Jive Software

Gotta love these type of contests where you actually get more than you expect. I guess all of this is a part of marketing, eh?

The red circle with a slash through it is backwards. You've actually got a scandinavian slashed vowel or "zero" or mathematics "empty" symbol where I think you meant to use a "not permitted" or "no" symbol. It's a classic semiotic mistake illustrators make when creating information designs. Most people don't notice or realize the difference though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_symbol
