Mike, thanks for the feedback. You make a good point, and in fact, our web engineering team is diligently working on building the SSO between this community and where the videos are hosted. But, seeing how many requests we have to access the videos, we wanted to make them available as soon as possible. Once the login integration is finished, it will be seamless.

The link takes us to a registration page. If we are community members and attended the conference, why ask for the same info? We are logged in, so you should already know all that stuff.

OK - I'm a little late to the party here but I must say all your comments will no doubt go a long way in ending our internal "flame war" as Matt calls it regarding the most appropriate deployment model for our application. To me single-tenancy brings more risk free scalability and allows a single architecture or at least very similar architectures to be used in a prem based and cloud based deployment. Its nice to know I'm not a lone voice in the wilderness on this one.

Instead of Cisco taking opensource Liferay, adding a ton of custom code and trying to make it SBS, they should just buy Jive.
