Clearspace 1.7 Beta2 Now Available Online

Posted by Dawn Foster on Oct 18, 2007 4:01:57 PM

We wanted to let you know that we have just released a beta 2 of Clearspace 1.7. The Clearspace 1.7 beta has a great new UI for threaded discussions, a new 'photo' profile field type, and the ability to consume OpenSearch-compatible search services. You can learn more about Clearspace 1.7 from our earlier blog post.

Just a reminder: please don't use these beta releases in production, and please don't upgrade your production instances to the beta releases. Instead, install the beta as a new installation or use a copy of your production system to try out the beta upgrade. We don't officially support the betas, but would love to get your feedback on them in Jivespace

Where can you get more information about 1.7.  The Blog you point to has more information than what you provided in your post

Your entry does not have any more info is what I wanted to say.

We will post more details about 1.7 after we issue the final release on Thursday evening.  In the meantime, if you download the beta, you can see the full change log (changelog.html) of all changes and bug fixes released in the 1.7 beta. There will be some additional changes and bug fixes in the 1.7 final release change log in addition to the beta changes.
