Updated 2.5.3 Clearspace Release

A bug was uncovered in our Rich Text Editor after the 2.5.3 release that we deemed important enough to fix before our next release of 2.5.4.  The bug affected tables and bulleted list item.

Is the updated build available for current evaluations as well?  We're in the middle of an eval and would like to upgrade to get this fix.

The evaluation downloads should have been updated as well. I'll check to make sure they were and see if Ben or Megan can respond.

Jack / Jon: yeah, agreed, we did talk about renaming it 2.5.3.1 but hesitated because the version number is also stored in the DB for upgrade purposes and we wanted to change as few things as possible.  We're working on a scoping out a formal process for re-releases next Thursday (not that it'll ever happen again!).

How big is the new clearspace.war file? My current 2.5.3 WAR is 77,970,274 bytes. I think I have the fixed version 2.5.3, but I want to be sure. If I have the right version, I won't waste bandwidth downloading it again.

Hi Ken, you can check this two ways:

1) if you're already running clearspace, on the end user side of the app, view source on a clearspace page, scroll down to the footer section and you should see the following:

Jive Software Version: 73743

2) You can also expand the war file and view: /WEB-INF/classes/template/decorator/default  you should see:

<@s.param>73743</@s.param>
