"Report Abuse" - Unexpected Error

I used the function "Report Abuse" on a document that had just been posted on which I had received an e mail notification.

When I clicked on the submitt button I received the message "Unexpected Error" -

The report is on the Space that doesn't have a space moderator yet, does this cause the error?

Jive SBS Employee Marketplace 4.x License Key

We've just been trying a test upgrade from 3.x to 4.x (successfully, I'm pleased to say) and apparently our 4.x license expires on November 15th. Can we have a license key valid for our subscription, please?

Jivespace Maintenance Windows collide with Working Hours in Europe

hi,

it happened to me two or three time that I was writing a reply to a case / discussion and when I hit "Post Message/Reply" I got the info the site was beeing maintained.

Thanks to browser caching or whatever I could wait for 10 mins and hit CMD+R to reload and the post was successful. So no work was lost.

But it would be great to inform us, the customers, about maintenance windows, so that we are prepared.

Moving Case to different Sev level

I am trying to move a case that is currently at Sev 3 to Sev 2, but the Move up and Move down links are not working. The case was moved from from the General support area to our private supportal, if that makes any difference.

I am trying to login in Jive SBS Mobile, but it failed.

Hi, my name is Luiz Fernando Diniz. I'm from Brazil and I was in San Francisco,CA in Together JiveWorld09. After the presentation of Jive SBS Mobile I downloaded the iphone APP, but i am trying to login using the jivespace community and my username luiz.diniz, but it returns "Login Failed - Unable to log you in.". I met Olivia after the Jive Tech Talk: "The Mobile Jive - Product Session" and compromise myself to use the app and give a feedback. But the only Jive community that I participate is Jivespace. Does anybody could help me to login in the Jive SBS mobile? Tks.

P.S. Sorry about my rusty english.

"Case Product Issues" Widget does not the current information

Hi,

we have filed many bugs since we are using Clearspace. With the introduction of Jivespace / Supportal our Jira access got barred and we started using threads for handling issues. To get information about the status of a bug we had to ask the supporter and the thread was update. Now we have the "Case Product Issues" wigdet on the right side as a peephole into Jira. But it is somehow broken. All our cases are reported for our current version, but the widget often does not reflect this. When we request the supporter to add our version, we get a reply that it has been done. But it does not show up. Please fix the "Case Product Issues" widget.

Jivespace - Slow

For the past week, Jivespace has been really slow. Except for Support, most pages hang in my browser. I've tried to get to an Internal community managers group but page never returns and just tried to view a training video, and the same thing.

Slow update propagation & no email notifications

An hour ago Kevin Imber posted to Re: NPE in searchService search operation. It took over 10 minutes for that update to become visible in the Recent Content on Jivespace and I still haven't received any email notification.

Jive "Supportal" fails when updating profile

Hi there,

You guys might be interested to know that removing data from what I'm assuming are required fields in the profile causes an 'unexpected error'.

Also there's a problem in your sign up process that causes the creation of an account, but returns you back to the signup page with a validation error. When you attempt to pass through this error, it informs you the account has been created.

Jive Issue - Issue in Server Start

I have downloaded Jive software and run the same in my machine and having issues when the Server is started. This issue has been on for the past one week. Please note the below recovery steps followed as per the disussion threads :

Logs were checked and we found the issue on Port and sorted the same and as well. Checked the config files

C:\Program Files\Jive SBS Public 3.0\bin\sbs_public-server-console.vmoptions
C:\Program Files\Jive SBS Public 3.0\bin\sbs_public-server.vmoptions
C:\Program Files\Jive SBS Public 3.0\etc\conf\manager.conf

Found places where port 8080 is mentioned and change them for example to 8090

and where port 80801 is mentioned and change them for example to 8091

Did the same restarted the server. Still did not work.

Since we received "java.lang.Exception: Can't unpack resources from inside jar!" I have tried to

Update C:\Program Files\Jive SBS Public 3.0\tomcat\conf\server.xml file

Changes:

...

...

and restart the server. Still did not work.

Also did the below changes

To enable web services on your local machine.

STILL after making the above all changes there seems to be no solution to end this issues and Server still keeps Loading and does not go to the running mode.Please look into the same ASAP.

Open:

C:\Program Files\Jive SBS Public 3.0\bin\sbs_public-server.vmoptions

Change:

-Djive.ws.enabled=false

To:

-Djive.ws.enabled=true

Restart the server.
