Yes I believe the option to disable nightly sync was added in 2.5. Changing this in 2.0.x is not recommended and would likely be very difficult to do. I would really suggest looking into using groups or a user filter of some kind to differentiate users. You can find more documentation about this here:

http://www.jivesoftware.com/builds/docs/clearspace/latest/ClearspaceLDAPActiveDirectoryGuide.html

Thanks.

-Todd

Ldap filter won't work - people who will use CS do not belong to any specyfic group or subtree. Moreover we want to make it possible for everybody on LDAP to login.

You can create an LDAP search filter which will ignore users which do not match this filter. This will allow you to specify people who are part of certain groups, OU's, etc and only have them get sync'ed in Clearspace. Thanks.

-Todd

Or at least stop it from creating new user accounts? We have over 3000 people in LDAP and we don't expect more then 10%-20% of them to ever login to Clearspace. It doesn't make sense to keep them all in database.

Thanks,

Bartosz Spyrko-Śmietanko
