If you are using Maven, then I would advise starting with this documentwhich can guide you through setting up your environment for working with Clearspace.

As for getting access to the Maven repository, I can grant that. Just let me know what you would like your username to be.

I'm in the process of creating the Macro and I've seen the Building Macros page so I know you have to implement the Macro interface, no problem. But what I'm getting stuck on is what dependency I'm suppose to pull into maven to allow the program to complile. Also, I think I suppose to ask you guys for access to your code repo.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to add a video provider to the list in the "Insert Video" dialog in the text editor via a plugin. Currently, this would require some significant customization of the core application.

You can, however, implement your own custom macro via a plugin (but this custom macro would have to be separate from the "Insert Video" dialog). Have a look at the documentation here concerning adding a custom macro via a plugin.

We have an internal video solution that we would like to be able to add to the list of videos to insert from. So when I click on the "insert video" image in the text editor and see the "Select a video site" dropdown, we'd like to be able to see our internal video solution as one of the options to choose from. Is this possible?

I was modeling the code after the vimeo macro [1]. However, I see on the Plugins page [2] it states the following:

Macros provide easy ways to enhance content while editing it. In the content editor, the Insert menu displays macros. (Note: This release doesn't support adding new macros. You'll be able to develop your own in a coming release.)

If this is possible, would I write a plugin or a macro [3]?
