Hi Brad -

Here's the info from Easystreet:

I've created the directory and given it the appropriate permissions:

drwxr-xr-x 2 tomcat tomcat 4096 Jul 7 16:36 /usr/local/tomcat/.fop

You're currently running Tomcat 6.0.16, the latest version is 6.0.20.

Thanks for the info! I followed up with the folks at Easystreet and here's what they have to say:

1. Tomcat's home directory is /usr/local/tomcat
2. There's no folder called /usr/local/tomcat/.fop, so tomcat has no permissions to
that directory
3. See 2.

I can create a /usr/local/tomcat/.fop and/or /usr/local/tomcat/.fop/fop-fonts.cache
for you if you'd like/need.

As for the problem, we noticed it on Monday, June 29th. And as I stated earlier, we haven't done any upgrades or changes to Clearspace lately.

Hey Larry,

Please do try creating that and also ensure that the Tomcat user gets permission for that directory -- I think it will likely need read and write permission.

This also looks like it might be a bug on Apache's end. As such, I will look around and see if perhaps upgrading Tomcat (if that's even possible on your end) would fix the issue.

Can you or have your admin check

What tomcat's home directory is?'
Does tomcat what read/write permission to /usr/local/tomcat/.fop?
Is there a file called /usr/local/tomcat/.fop/fop-fonts.cache?

Please let me know -- this might fix the issue! I can't remember, is this a new issue or has it been around for a while? Did you, like, upgrade anything recently?

Navigate to the Admin Console and go to System -> System Information. Can you copy that table in to a word document and attach it here, please?
