Problems with ClearFox

I just discovered ClearFox.... what a cool idea!

I "plugged it in" to my Clearspace installation, and installed the extension via the cf-about.jspa page. But, the button doesn't show up in Firefox, and it's not shown in the Addons dialog after installation and restart of Firefox.

I'm using FF version 2.0.0.9 on Windows XP. Is there something I've forgotten?

I downloaded the helloworld plugin sample and deployed it as document guide. But i can't see "sayhello" tag when server start. I have spent much time but no further.

I'm so confused. So somebody of you maybe help me.

Debugging ClearSpace Plugins

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. I was unable to post a thread to the "Developers forum" in www.jivesoftware.com. So i am assuming this is the new location. Excuse me if this is not.

Anyway here is my question. I am using Eclipse to develop plugins in Clearspace. I was unable to debug the plug-ins that i am developing for CS. Has anyone done that? If so how do i do that?

Inline viewing of local video content

I was under the impression that this feature was pending for 2.5, however it does not seem to be resident. I also recall there was a company with a press release regarding a clearspace integration that allowed for direct capture of webcam input via the clearspace interface. Does that ring a bell for anyone? I can't find it anywhere.

migration from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2

we upgraded from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2 but we never got the migration screen during setup.

Is there not enough of a db change to make this screen come up?

Editing document body through the clearspace api

Hi,

I am trying to create/update documents through the clearspace api. I am using a string with html tags for the body

For the creation of the document, i use the documentmanager and the creatDocument(,,,String body) specifying for the body the html string.

But for the update, I use the documentManager to retrieve the document i want to edit and the new html string, but unfortuntely, the method setBody for documents only take in argument org.w3c.dom.Document and no string.

I am not familiar at all with org.w3c.dom.Document and i wanted to know if there's a simple way to convert my string into org.w3c.dom.Document, as if i was entering the html string in the document html editing console of clearspace

Change of Code in Widget - restart of clearspace necessary?!

Hello,

I changed some code in my custom plugin and the only way I could ClearSpace to recognize the new code was to restart ClearSpace. Even restarting the Plugin did not help. As restarting ClearSpace takes some time I was wondering if there is a better way of doing it?!

Is there anyway to load html from the client side

My plugin ftl loads javascript which calls html.

But I'm getting an error message which I've attached to this discussion.

Any idea or work around?

SharePoint integration with Clearspace 2.0

I attended the last few minutes of a webinar on Clearspace 2.0 a few days ago and received a link to the slides afterwards (found here: http://www.jivesoftware.com/resources/pdf/Webinar-Clearspace-2-Customer.pdf). There were a couple of slides about SharePoint 2007 integration for Clearspace 2.0 which I am VERY interested in, but I missed that portion of the webinar. I have searched the Jive communities and can't seem to find any additional information about it. I found one discussion from a few weeks ago that speculated that it would be released as a plugin on the Jive Developer Community site, but I haven't found anything there either.

Can someone point me in the right direction so I can see some documentation on how to go about setting it up? Or, has it been released yet?
