Content Libraries for Field Sales -- better in community or salesforce.com

If your field sales team uses Salesforce.com to track and manage account activities, should content libraries of sales presentations, marketing materials, sales promotions, training materials, etc. be hosted inside of an online community or in Salesforce.com itself? Do any of you have any recommendations which work better for the field? Also I'm looking for any resources or recommendations for communities to engage and empower field sales organizations which typically have zero time to participate.

Customer Community Workshop

We have our strategy workshop for our customer-facing community coming up. For other Jive customers that have taken the 2 day workshop, how did you best prepare for it? What, if anything, did you provide Jive prior to the workshop to make the time together more efficient/valuable? Was it more for them to learn from you? If you could jump in a time machine, what would you do differently?

clearstep - has it gone?

Hi all,

I was lookign for Clearstep, where there used to be "vendor-agnostic" chat about community maangement, internal collaboration, etc...

Has it gone? I seem to be redirected to Jives business conversations forum - is this the replacement?

If so, I'd love to learn more about the decision behind this, why Clearstep as a brand ceases to be?

I'm currently developing a vendor agnostic/neutral community along the same lines of Clearstep, so if it failed... I'd love to learn the lessons.

I am a little confused. Communities have replaces the term spaces in this workspace.

So, given that one of our users copied and pasted an article from a news site onto our internal Jive site, I clearly need to put a blog entry together on what's ok (and not ok) to do in terms of using information from third party web sites.

Have other people put together blogs / policies, etc., in this area? (I promise not to paste them directly onto our site! )
