Reviewing the Filtrbox T-Shirt

Posted by kdomen Jan 26, 2010

"It's definitely tight" said an astute co-worker.

I've got to say that I'm impressed with their t-shirts.  I've worn many tight t-shirts but

this rates up there as one of the tightest and most comfortable t-shirts in the market.

You can tell that they listened to the Snuggy market and applied some principles to their t-shirts.

Thanks to the Chief Listener -- Michael Fraietta for sending me this awesome t-shirt.

Don't Call It A Comeback

Posted by kdomen Jan 20, 2010

Like the movie "Rocky Balboa", the Fooman decided to go head-to-head with me

wearing his ultra-tight vest and newer Air Jordans.

When Richard Foo first asked me to submit a picture to the 25th Anniversary of Michael Jordan's Mosiac,

I knew what I had to do.  I had to wear the tightest t-shirt I could possibly find with my best Air Jordan's.

Below, I'm wearning a vintage female Jive Clearspace t-shirt ('07) with my vintage Air Jordan's ('01).

I was in the middle of installing Jive4 a.k.a Ninkasi so you can see the focus and fire in my eyes.

Many people have asked me at one time or another,

"Why is your title Technical/Social Evangelist?"

I thought it would only be fair to answer those questions this day.

I decided to change my title to Technical/Social Evangelist

because I'm not as Technical as Derek DeMoro and I'm not as Social as Gia Lyons.

The pictures below pretty much sum up what I do.

1.  "Social Evangelizing"

T-Shirt Contest

Posted by kdomen Jul 16, 2009

There are few contests I enter or am allowed to enter but when my orthodontist decided to hold a "Dr. Lathrop T-shirt contest",

I asked for a child size "M".   My competition includes a super-fit triathlete, tons of teenage kids who lack

fat, and other clients who decided to get t-shirts of the correct size.  One thing I have going for me is the American Apparel

Community who encourages ultra-tight clothes, the half-shirt facebook group, and my girfriend who says I look good for being 40.

Half Shirt User Profiles

Posted by kdomen Jun 24, 2009

An independent study conducted by non-official Insight's contractors revealed

that most half-shirt owners are "green & yellow" by nature.

We are the middle children that lacked the hugs and attention during our formative

years.  Half-shirts help relieve some of this lost love.

Currently, an Insight User Profile plugin is being developed and will be

released in the 3rd quarter.

My Half Shirt Testimonial

Posted by kdomen Feb 26, 2009

"If I could take back one moment in my pair-programming life, it would be the day when I wore my Clearspace half shirt in combination with my low-cut jeans.  I showed way too much back."  @kdomen #too_much_back

We all have a story to share and this might just be the forum to do so.

My story took place when an innocent "my back hurts so I'm just going to make myself more comfortable" situation turned into a deadly nightmare.  My pair programmer at that time came back from what I would consider the world's longest break.  He returned to see more than he bargained for.  I was coding in an unorthodox fashion leaning over to finish off an amazing plugin. We spent the rest of the day discussing how I threw his groove off and how he couldn't code after that traumatic event.

I'm sure you have your stories too.  I'd like to hear them.

The Magic Quadrant

Posted by kdomen Feb 26, 2009

magic_quadrant.jpg

Last week, I conducted an independent Gartner-like study on leading social software vendors and

retailers and the only other competitor that came close to Jive's visionary half-shirt

was Build-A-Bear's super-mini t-shirt built for teddy bears.

"Jive has a definite competitive advantage over both Telligent and Build-A-Bear when it comes to tight t-shirts."  --   anonymous shopper at Buffalo Exchange

Jive understands that building a community not only includes good software but creating t-shirts that are both tight and short.  In my next blog, I'll be talking about how Jive can transform their licensing model.
