Blog comment error - can't establish connection

This error also occurs if I try to view the blog as a PDF or view print preview:

"can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:8181."

In the Jive support archives, I noticed others have received blog comment errors as well, but of a different nature.  This error only occurs with blogs and happens with both Firefox 3.0.x and Internet Explorer 7.  Both browsers return a connectivity error.

I am running Clearspace 2.5.2 using the built-in app server alomg with an external postgres database.

Again, all other facets of the software seem okay (great, actually).  Has anyone else encountered such a problem?

Re: Blog comment error - can't establish connection

Hi Jeff,

Would you please attach a copy of your logs from the <jiveHome>/logs/ folder? I have never heard of a connection getting interrupted only in specific places of the application. Is your jiveURL set correctly? Your jiveURL should match the URL that you are using to access your site. You can find the jiveURL in the Admin console -> System -> System Properties. Thanks!
