Formatted text widget

I've tried to add a formatted text widget to the overview page of a space. When pressing the "Save properties" button after editing the text, nothing happens. The edit window stays open, and the text is not saved. This happens on a Clearspace 2.5.4 standard installation (we've made no modifications and haven't added any plugins). And no, theres no "funny" characters in the text I'm entering, just "Hello" in the title text box and "Hello" in the editor. ANy suggestions?

Hi Trond,

 

This is a known issue affecting all versions <= 2.5.4. The Bug ID for this issue is CS-9675 and it has been fixed in 2.5.5. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Nice to hear that this has been fixed in 2.5.5.

I couldn't find anything on the website that quite covered this problem.

 

When will 2.5.5 be available?

One work-around we've been using is to hit the 'Save Properties' button several times (usually 5-6 times for me).  That seems to save the text until the full fix is in place with 2.5.5.
