Is there a feature to send a private message/email to all users

Hi,

 


we are looking to send out a system wide message once in a while when we do updates and maintenance and I would like to know if there is any built-in functionality for that? This is purely for admin purposes.

As far as I know I have not see this functionality in the software.

I would like to see this feature implemented.  Is there an enhancement request open for this?  Is this part of any upcoming versions?

This has been proposed but it has not been scheduled yet. The issue number is CS-10444.
