User Self registration screen - modifiable?

When a user self registers - I have set up the system to allow the admin to approve new requests. What I would also like to do is modify the page so that I can ask them to use a specific convention for signing up - like using email addresses for usernames for example.

Hey Phil,

Sure, you should be able to do this fairly easily. Just let me know which page specifically you are looking at and I can give you some details about how to edit the page. Thanks.

Alright, so the template you'd need to modify would be this one:

/template/global/create-profile.ftl

and here are some instructions detailing simple theming customizations that you can do:

Hope that helps! Thanks.

Yeah, unfortunately this is the easiest way to modify the look and feel of a specific page in the application.
