Characters allowed in username

Hi colleagues,

 

What are the characters not allowed in a username? We are runnin jiveforums silver 5.5.2 and we got an application error when we created a username containing &; . We would like to know that in order to restric the use of those characters.

Hey,

 

I was able to create users with "&" as well as many other special characters on a JiveForums Silver 5.5.2 instance. I did not come across any problems with this.

 

Will you provide me with screenshots of the problems you're seeing?

To better serve our customers we have included functionality to automatically follow up on a case after it has been idle for more than 5 days, and then auto close after an additional 3 days of inactivity. Choose No to acknowledge that this case will remain idle for longer than 5 days.
