URGENT - Blog Post - Link opening in a new window

Hi,

I have a blog post where there are two links that must open a new window. The code of the blog post is this:

</span></p>

<p> </p>

<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: #000000; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Para acceder a la <strong>gu&iacute;a r&aacute;pida</strong> haga click en el icono de descarga: </span></p>

<p> </p>

<p><a href="http://m.micomunidad.univadis.es/MiComunidad.pdf" target="_blank"><img alt="Gu&iacute;a R&aacute;pida" class="jive-image" src="http://avanzo.hosted.jivesoftware.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/38-1034-1047/MiComunidad_GuiaRapida.jpg" /></a></p>

<p> </p>

<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: #000000; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Para acceder a los <strong>tutoriales</strong> haga click en:</span></p>

<p> </p>

<p><a href="http://m.micomunidad.univadis.es/videos" target="_blank"><img alt="Tutorial" class="jive-image" src="http://avanzo.hosted.jivesoftware.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/38-1034-1048/MiComunidad_tutorial.jpg" /></a></p></body>

Usually the _blank target allows me to open links in new page. Doesn't work in Jive?

Marcello,

This is correct and by design for security reasons. All attributes, except href, are stripped from <a/> tags.

Cheers,

Brad

Unfortunately no, there is no way to override this that I'm aware of. We've had lots of users ask for this feature so please keep an eye out for something in this vain in the near future.

Cheers,

Brad

Great, thanks! I've made it public in the Developers space.

To better serve our customers we have included functionality to automatically follow up on a case after it has been idle for more than 5 days, and then auto close after an additional 3 days of inactivity. Choose No to acknowledge that this case will remain idle for longer than 5 days.
Making cases public allows other customers to learn from the solution of the case. It can also be used to gain feedback from others in the community. Ask our Support Engineers for more info, but we encourage you to make your cases public.
