Indexing Search folder sizing

Hi,

We have many customers, asking for the sizing of the jiveHome/search folder. I've been surfing in the documentation but I couldn't find any information related with that.

Could you point me any document or give an approach how is the growth of this folder when using autoindexing and attachment indexing?

Thanks!

Re: Indexing Search folder sizing

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean -- the index will continue to grow as more documents are added to the index.

Thanks,

Vinh

Re: Indexing Search folder sizing

Hello,

We don't have precise data on the growth of the database/search index folder size that I'm aware of, but I can give you an example from one of our forums instances.  Their database is 21192.44 MB and the search index is about 2.8 GB.  Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Kevin
