Carriage returns not recognized

Hello. Regardless of if I use IE 7 or Firefox 3.5.3, my posts in the Clearspace community are not recognizing my carriage returns. The end result is that my posts end up as one big sentence. This does not help our professional image. Please let me know what to try and if you need any additional specs from me. Thanks.

Hi Anthony,

Are you seeing the same behavior here in the support area?  Are you using the 'html' editor or the regular version?

Anthony,

Is it just you impacted by this issue?  I scanned through your forums and saw uses of carriage returns through the site.  Is it sporadic?

Re: Carriage returns not recognized

Anthony,

Does this issue persist across different computers as well?  It would be great to have a screencapture of what the carriage returns look like during the post (switching back and forth between the 'html' option) so that I can try to figure out what is not being inserted, or if there is a specific pattern.

Also - what OS are you on, XP? Vista?

Thanks!

Anthony,

Can you try clearing your cache / cookies and re-post on the XP machine?  The behavior makes me think that there is an old version of the javascript cached in your browser.

Glad to hear this worked for you, I am going to close this case out for now, please open a new case if anything else comes up.
