I need to be able embed slideshare code into the RTE for wikis, discussions, and blogs. I'm only able to do this via HTML widget because the RTE strips out the code. I understand there is a tidying task that the code runs through automatically. Is there a way to tweak this for embeddable items, or selectively disable it for admins?

I have seen other threads here telling users to update to the latest version of Flash. (The content plays in HTML widget so this is not my problem.) I also remember seeing something about a slideshare macro, but I am not sure how to do that.
