Biography:: Grew up in Richmond, Va. Double-majored in Biochemistry & Cognitive Science at the University of Virginia, Class of 1996. Moved to Hood River, OR to windsurf upon graduation. Started software engineering for Intel in Hillsboro in 1998. Rode the dot.com bubble in San Francisco 2000 - 2001 with a consulting firm. Found refuge at Barclays Global Investors in SF from 2001 - 2003. Moved back to Portland and linked up with Fujitsu Biosciences to write 3D molecular modeling software. Found Jive Software in late 2005, made the jump to management and never looked back.
