- Biography: I grew up in Tokyo, Japan. My parents are both Japanese and my dad worked for IBM, Kodak, Grumman Aerospace and finally Ford. He retired like 3 times. Ok, he's impressive so a little about me. My parent's sent me to an international school in Japan and basically I am Japanese crust with an American core. I was all messed up. I went from living in Japan from 0-18 and then ended up in the worst place ever -- Grand Rapids, MI at Calvin College. I graduated at PSU with CS and then my work life began at OHSU and then at Gemstone and finally at Nike where I've been for a total of 12+ years. @humanfireplace I love the jive half shirts p.s.
