- Biography: Kevin has spent his entire career working with various computer and information systems. He spent 5 years working with the Housing Authority of Louisville developing a national award winning system for performing housing inspections, tracking the inspection information and automating the generation of reports and work (service) orders. The system (programmed in C, dbase and a PICK based mainframe) was the first to use rugged hand held computers for collection home inspection data. He spent over 3 years working for two different training/consulting firms (New Horizons Computer Learning Center and Solutech Inc.). While at New Horizons Kevin designed a database system for tracking all student activity. At Solutech Kevin completed his certifications to become one of the first 100 people in the world to achieve all of the Microsoft Certified Professional Titles. In addition he taught Oracle and Sybase database classes as well. During that time his clients included Brown Forman and the State of Kentucky. His experience as a consultant and trainer led him to a more traditional web company. TechRepublic was sold in February 2000 to the Gartner Group and then to CNET. Kevin worked as a consultant for a variety of companies and developed diverse systems including street light monitoring and control, small engine aircraft routing, and HIPPA related security applications. In September of 2008 Kevin joined Solutionset working primarily with the Jive practice group.
