We upgraded from 3.X to 4.0.1 previously and ran the Oracle 8 upgrade script to acomplish this. System was up and working fine... However, our database server crashed, and we have imported the data into a new 10G database. However, after re-running the initial setup, we aren't able to login to the admin application, the following errors occur (stack traces omitted):
2005.01.20 22:04:55 [com.jivesoftware.base.database.DbPermissionsManager.
getFinalUserPerms(DbPermissionsManager.java:501)]
com.jivesoftware.base.UserNotFoundException: Failed
to read user 1 from database.
...
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00600: internal error code,
arguments: [ttcgcshnd-1], [0], [], [], [], [], [], []
I'm assuming that we now need to run the non-8i upgrade script from 3.X to 4.0.X to fix these errors, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for any help, Chris
Nevermind, we replaced the Oracle JDBC classes12.zip that we had used forever without problems with the new ojdbc14.jar... All appears to be working well.
