Making "Your View" the default page

Is there a way to make the "Your View" tab the default page for Clearspace users, as opposed to the "All Content" section?  Would prefer to go straight to the section with personalized tasks, projects, etc. as opposed to the larger area of recent content and popular tags. 

 

(Using Clearspace 2.0.1)

Users should see a small link right beside the tab titles "Set as your default tab." Clearspace should behave as you describe if they set their view as their default tab.

We only have edit and system default (for admins) and customize(for users), is there something to modify in the admin console?

Should Clearspace 2.5.3 also have this "set as default" link? I do not see it.

 

What I see is in attached screenshot.

You have to personalize the page first. At the very first time, it'll set it as your default tab and you'll be able to switch the default tab between the two at that point.

Hi Vinh,

 

Personalizing the page and setting it as a default page will make Your view default page for that user.

But if i want this for everyone then is their any other generalised way to achieve this ?

 

I don't want to apply the following propertyName/propertyValue in jivetable for each and everyuser.

 

property name       : jive.community.tab.default.1

Value                   : personalized

 

 

 

 

Can you provide/suggest any alternate way for this. I don't need All content tab .

Unfortunately, we read from the database in jiveUserProp to dictate whether Your View is default or not for each user. You'll have to create an entry for each user with the name personalizedHomepage and propValue of true when they register in order to make this the default for everyone.
