Upgrading ClearSpace 1.10.1 to 2.5

Hello,
We’re trying to update clearspace from 1.10.1 to 2.5 and I have problems when I put the database settings. I put the next values:

•    DataBase driver presets: MySQL
•    JDBC driver class: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver (the driver is in the server/lib directory)
•    Database URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/clearspace
•    User name: the database username
•    Pwd: the database password
•    …

And when I test the connection it works, but when I press continue the system shows a message: “The setup tool was unable to install the specified database schema. To install manually…”.

With this configuration the 1.10.1 version works.

Tks in advance. KR.

Roberto.

Hi Roberto,  You are running into a bug that we have already identified and fixed in 2.5.1. There is a workaround listed in the bug report:

this is a recoverable error - users can restart clearspace and proceed to upgrade console.

The bug is only encountered from 1.10.x to 2.5. The title of the bug is: "Error upgrading from 1.10.x to 2.5 while going through setup"
