How do I upload images to a blog from a blogging client like Scribefire?

How can I configure a blogging client like ScribeFire to upload an image to a personal blog on SBS 3.0?

I've configured ScribeFire to post blog entries correctly but when I insert an image ScribeFire wants to upload using either the blog's API or FTP. On our site the API choice yeilds "File upload denied because file upload not implemented.". The FTP option needs to know a path to where the user is allowed to store images.

1) How do I enable/configure SBS 3.0 to allow API file uploads to a blog?

2) For FTP uploading, what is the path were a blog owner can upload images to?

Hi,

Are you using the REST API to connect to SBS?  If so, you can find documentation on adding attachments or images here.  Files are actually stored in the database rather than a directory.  The REST API will handle storing files, you just need to encode the files into Base64.

Thanks,

Cory

Hi Garry,

Our blog is not supported by ScribeFire.

Thanks,

Cory
