Bug? tasks without due date not showing.

Hi,

We are currently evaluating Jive SBS public marketplace, version 3.0.3.

When we create tasks with no end date, the task widgets fail to present them. This is true both for the task "To do" widget as well as the "Tasks" widget in the project overview. The data in the database seem to be correct as can be seen in the attachments. Could you confirm that this is a bug? Otherwise I guess there is a problem with our installation.

The database is an MS SQL 2005.

Regards,

/Fredrik Jönsson Norrström

Hey Fredrik,

I was unable to reproduce your issue! Could you please try upgrading to SBS 3.0.4 and see if that resolves your issue?

Please let me know!

Cheers,

Brad Heller

Re: Bug? tasks without due date not showing.

Hey Fredrik,

I just re-checked this in SBS 3.0.3 and was again unable to reproduce this! A few further questions...

  • If you've already done the ugrade, did that resolve the issue?
  • Are there any other particular steps for reproducing this issue that didn't get included?
    • What kind of settings do you have on the space which the project is in?
    • What is the end date of the project these tasks belong to? Did the project get moved at some point, perhaps?
  • Would it be possible for you to make your database available to us for further testing?

Cheers,

Brad Heller

To better serve our customers we have included functionality to automatically follow up on a case after it has been idle for more than 5 days, and then auto close after an additional 3 days of inactivity. Choose No to acknowledge that this case will remain idle for longer than 5 days.
Making cases public allows other customers to learn from the solution of the case. It can also be used to gain feedback from others in the community. Ask our Support Engineers for more info, but we encourage you to make your cases public.
