I've seen some discussion on this but couldn't find a resolution. Is there documentation out there that specifies what undo functionality works and what doesn't and with which browsers?
I've tested it and it is very inconsistent. For instance in a firefox browser I can undo a partial sentence delete by selecting the browser Edit >> Undo. But I cannot undo a full line delete. I also cannot undo the formatting i.e if I bold some text I can't undo that.Scratch that.... undo formatting does work in firefox.. but IE does not have an undo button and ctrl z does not seem to work. Should ctrl z work?
Thanks

Hey Rob,
This bug annoys me quite frequently as well. This has been filed with a high priority internally as CS-10284. As of right now it appears that this is currently being reviewed for fix in our July or August release. The ctrl+z functionality of the RTE appears to be disabled and as you've stated, sometimes the browser's context menu works but it is not nearly as helpful as the built in one. I hope we get is back soon as well. Thanks.

Any news on when undo will work?
I don't know if it helps, but when I hold down the Ctrl key in Firefox (while in the doc editor) I get this error repeatedly:
Warning: The 'charCode' property of a keydown event should not be used. The value is meaningless.

Hey Will,
I took a look at the bug report and this feature should be back in its full form as of 4.0 (CS-13263). Thanks.
