Hi James,
I have tested this locally and was unable to reproduce this issue. Will you provide me with the contents of your widget? You can do this by clicking the HTML button in the top right of the Rich Text Editor. Save the contents of that discussion and attach it to this case. Also, please list all other widgets you have on this page.
Thanks,
Cory

Hi James,
I was able to reproduce this issue. I have narrowed it down to the specific content you placed in the Insert Raw HTML macros. I do not know the exact piece of content within these macros that caused it to fail. I have filed a bug for this issue. The bug ID is CS-17394.
Thanks,
Cory
Thanks Cory,
I will try to delete and then create the widget again and see if the issue still prevails
Regards
James
We have other widgets in other spaces and the same problems persists in IE7. This could be a serious issue as out company only approves IE7 and if users are not able to update widgets this could be problamatic. Can you inform me if this is being worked on? I have the html code of another such widget here that will not allow changed to be made from IE7

Hi James,
I have determined with this exact content, if you remove the last two lines and the space before it, it will allow you to save this widget:
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Thank you,</strong></p>
<p><strong>MyConnect System Admin</strong></p>
I know this is a very strange issue and I do not yet have more information on what is causing it. I will continue to look into it.
Thanks,
Cory
Hi Cory,
I just made an observation that after I created a new Widget in v4.0 and tried to Edit that its working. The problems we're encountering now are those widgets created during 3.0.8 and now being changed when we are now in v4.0. Using IE7, after I perform the Edit and Save Changes - then I Published the Changes, the new edited widget still displayed the old text.
Thanks,
Anthony
Anthony,
I will attempt to reproduce this issue. Can you provide me with the contents of one of these widgets so that I can be sure that I am reproducing this exact issue? As a work around, will it allow you to delete the frozen widget, then recreate it with the same content via copy and paste?
Thanks,
Cory
