Document Comments

Hello

This is jaya

Can some one give me the solution for this:

I want to create a new tab inside a specific document called comments. When i click on this i should be only able to view all the comments on this document.

This should work on the condition that when you go to the subcommunity level you should be able to see all the comments of all the documents , and when u enter specific document, iyou must be able to view only the comments of that document.

Please reply back immediately , if possible

thanks in advance

Re: Document Comments

Hello Jaya,

This functionality isn't included in our product out of the box, but you should be able to make this with a plugin.  We have some great documentation on making plugins, including these docs:

Building Plugins

Developer Community

Jive SBS 3.x documentation

I hope that helps.

Thanks,

Kevin

To better serve our customers we have included functionality to automatically follow up on a case after it has been idle for more than 5 days, and then auto close after an additional 3 days of inactivity. Choose No to acknowledge that this case will remain idle for longer than 5 days.
Making cases public allows other customers to learn from the solution of the case. It can also be used to gain feedback from others in the community. Ask our Support Engineers for more info, but we encourage you to make your cases public.
