Jive Software Delivers Networking Site for IntercontinentalExchange®

Internal Site Facilitates Efficiency and Continued Growth

PORTLAND, OR, NOVEMBER 13, 2008 - Jive Software, the pure-play collaboration software leader, today announced that its customer, IntercontinentalExchange® (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global regulated futures exchanges and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, launched an internal social networking site named ICESpace. ICESpace serves as the company's corporate intranet and collaboration platform allowing employees to quickly find and connect with the people and information they need.

Beginning in January of 2007, ICE completed a string of seven acquisitions, growing from roughly 200 employees to nearly 800 today. The multiple acquisitions created communications challenges for ICE employees who are located in Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Houston, London, Winnipeg, Calgary and Singapore. ICE contacted Jive in November of 2007 seeking a common communication platform that would enable not only the posting of static information, but also rich collaboration for its employees worldwide. ICE chose Jive Software's Clearspace platform for its ease of use and ability to quickly connect people across departments, divisions and geographies.

ICESpace is now the central repository for ICE employees to find important company information such as executive communications, human resource policies and legal notices. However, the real value of ICESpace is the ability for users to share project updates and technology advancements with experts across organizations, spawning innovation, speedy resolution of issues and improved productivity.
