Personalizable homepage

The personalizable home page is meant to help drive faster adoption while improving employee focus and satisfaction. One size does not fit all. Users of Clearspace have varying needs for organizing the information that is most important to them. Users can now tailor their Clearspace homepage by simply clicking and dragging from an intuitive widget catalog along with choosing a design layout that they like best.

Expanded profiles and automated org-charts

Expanded profiles and visibilty to organizational relationships increase context about people and make them easier to reach. With expanded profile information such as past employers and expertise users can quickly and easily know more about each other no matter how far they live and work from one another. For enterprise collaboration, this richer profile means a complete organizational chart is available to give people even more context about who they are working with and is designed to work in conjuction with existing information from LDAP and Active Directory.

Projects

In enterprise organizations, Projects are designed to drive cross-functional productivity and manage towards an outcome. Projects are a tool that helps people coordinate effectively toward a common goal and target date. Fundamentally, Projects provide a single place to collaborate on all content related to a time-based objective with checkpoints and tasks all easily created by the various team members. Projects enables the group to coordinate who is doing what, have visibility into when those activities will be completed, and understand what still needs to be done.

SharePoint integration (for enterprise collaboration only)

SharePoint integration brings unity across a common corporate intranet and extends the use of it instead of creating yet another siloed system. This integration provides the ability to search in Clearspace and get results that include documents from SharePoint (in addition to all the other great content and people already in Clearspace), and then link to SharePoint documents within any document, discussion, or blog in Clearspace.

External document sharing

External document sharing enables efficient and productive use of time when working with external partners. Share content and collaborate on documents outside of your Clearspace installation. This allows collaboration with outside partners, contractors, or customers in a secure and manageable way. The result is better aligned and focused external resources with less time spent keeping them in the loop.

Admin console audit view

The admin console audit view provides visibility and control to IT administrators regarding any change in the admin console. This feature enables admins to record an audit log of actions performed in the admin console.
