- Sarah, a Senior Product Manager, is on the road and checking emails from her iPhone.
- Following the link to Jive SBS Mobile, she sees Bill, the VP of Sales, has posted an urgent question to the Sales group.
- She uses the app on her iPhone to check Bill’s status, which states he’s in an important sales pitch.
- The question is technical, so she uses her Jive SBS Mobile app to do a quick profile search to find the right engineer.
- She taps on the phone number on the engineer’s profile to call her directly. The engineer points Sarah to the document she needs.

Jive Mobile extends the basic core email functionality of Jive SBS, reply via mail, to allow users to create and post community content via email as well.
Leveraging technology called the vCard (originally designed for electronic business cards), Jive has associated the profile data of each community space with a specific email address, By simply downloading the vCard for a particular space or group to their Blackberry contacts list, you can:
