Huawei Group’s Honor Calls on Jive Software to Drive Customer Engagement and Loyalty for Innovative Smartphones

PARIS, Aug. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: JIVE) today announced that Honor, an entity of Huawei group, launched five new Jive-powered Customer Communities to foster connections amongst the passionate users of its Honor smartphones in Western Europe. As part of the company’s much-anticipated Honor 8 smartphone launch in Paris earlier this month, it unveiled new Honor “For the Brave” communities in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, which provide digital spaces where consumers can find product and event information, access peer-to-peer support and engage with Honor experts.
With Honor’s brand presence growing rapidly in Europe, the business is constantly looking for new ways to enhance its end-to-end customer experience. In order to fuel product and brand engagement and improve customer support, the company decided to adopt an online solution that would amplify users’ expertise and passion. Through its new mobile-enabled Jive Customer Communities, Honor is enabling easy access to product news, documentation and FAQs, as well as to marketing promotions, social media conversations and the company’s e-commerce hub.

The communities have already been used to facilitate several in-person fan meetups and to host live blogs during the recent Honor 8 European launch event. The communities help users connect directly with each other, troubleshoot issues through smart search features and forums and access traditional customer service channels when needed—deflecting support calls and reducing the company’s costs.
In addition, Jive’s detailed analytics help Honor optimize its communities so they will continue to thrive over time. These foundational insights include peer-to-peer interaction, influencer engagement and sentiment, community adoption and content impact metrics. Going forward, Honor plans to extend its regional communities by launching additional country-specific sites for Western Europe later this year.
