Hello, I’m Todd Forsythe, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at EMC. We’ve been a long time Jive partner for both our external customer facing EMC branded community network as well as our internal collaboration of 47,000 employees strong. EMC’s branded external customer facing community network, powered by Jive, has become a mission-critical tool for our go-to-market strategy. As we look at the nature of the consumer buying process, conversation is becoming a critical part of the brand. So the peer-to-peer dialog that occurs on Jive is critical for us to engage with customers and prospects considering EMC’s products and solutions.

We have a growing community of 300,000 members strong consisting of customers, partners, prospects and employees, all collaborating on Jive. Gamification integrated into the Jive platform has been critical to our success. When we turned gamification on in the community, we saw an increase of engagement upwards of 20% almost immediately. Our membership growth rate is exceeding 20%. Our members are engaged much more in the community than previous years with the engagement rate up 50% year over year. And the community actively advocating on our brands behalf are contributing upwards of 8% share of voice in the marketplace.
