Management Team

Tony Zingale, Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Jive Software, Tony Zingale is responsible for overseeing the company's overall strategic direction, planning and execution. He currently sits on the boards of Jive Software, McAfee Software, Coverity and Service Source. Mr. Zingale has nearly 30 years of experience building profitable, high growth information technology companies. He most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercury Interactive, the worldwide leader of Business Technology Optimization (BTO) solutions. Mr. Zingale successfully grew Mercury to over $1B in annual sales and then engineered the $5B merger with Hewlett Packard which was completed at the end of 2006.

Prior to Mercury, he was President and Chief Executive officer of Clarify, a publicly traded enterprise technology company that was a leader in the customer relationship management (CRM) market from 1997 until Nortel Networks acquired it in 2000 for $2.1B. During his tenure, Clarify's revenue grew more than 300 percent to more than $300 million. Following the acquisition, he served as president of Nortel's billion-dollar eBusiness Solutions Group until 2001.

Previously, Mr. Zingale spent more than 10 years at Cadence Design Systems, the world's leading supplier of electronic design automation (EDA) products and services, in a succession of executive management positions leading to his role as senior vice president of worldwide marketing. He served on the executive team that grew Cadence from approximately $40 million in revenue to more than $1.2 billion while also completing more than 15 mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Zingale began his career in product marketing at Intel Corporation in 1980.

Mr. Zingale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the University of Cincinnati Foundation's Board of Trustees.

Bryan LeBlanc, Chief Financial Officer

Bryan LeBlanc joined Jive as the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all financial, accounting, IT and operational aspects of Jive's business. Bryan is a seasoned finance and business professional with more than 20 years of experience in public high tech and software companies. Bryan was a key member of Mercury Interactive's executive team, where he helped drive substantial growth in both the size of the business and the company's market value.

Bryan also served as CFO of Webtrends, a software company in the web analytics market, served as CFO of inSilicon, a public software company in the semiconductor IP markets and built the corporate finance team at enterprise content management company Documentum. Bryan has also spent 10 years in various management roles in finance and marketing at Cadence Design Systems. Bryan holds an MBA in finance and marketing from Santa Clara University and a BA in biology/pre-med from Holy Cross College.

Matt Tucker, Chief Technology Officer, co-founder

Matt Tucker, co-founder and CTO, is responsible for the long-term technical and strategic direction of Jive's products. Along with Bill Lynch, Matt founded Jive Software in 2001 and has helped build the company from just two people to where it is today. Matt is an active member in open standards communities including having served on the board of the XMPP Standards Foundation.

Prior to Jive, Matt worked as a software engineer at an internet startup in San Francisco called 4charity.

Matt holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.

John McCracken, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

John McCracken joined Jive as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and is responsible for driving business in both new and existing markets.

Before joining Jive, John led the Inovis global sales organization as Senior Vice President, Sales and before that he served as Vice President of Sales of the Americas at Mercury Interactive, where he led strategic product solutions in the areas of Application Management, IT Governance and ITIL.

He has also held executive management positions at American Express, Warrantech and PC ServiceSource and served as an Advisory Board Member for iConclude.

Bill Lynch, Vice President Product Management, co-founder

As the head of Product Management, Bill is responsible for the product roadmap and helps drive product strategy. Along with Matt Tucker, Bill founded Jive Software in 2001 and has helped build the company from just two people to where it is today.

Prior to Jive, Bill worked as a software engineer at an internet startup in San Francisco called 4charity.

Bill holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.

Chris Morace, Senior Vice President of Products

Chris Morace joined Jive Software in October 2007 to lead its Social Business Software product strategy, and oversees product management and product marketing. He brings with him a 15 year track record for building high-growth, high-value businesses in the technology sector. Prior to joining Jive Software, Chris held executive positions at Sindhara, an innovator in next generation digital media; Awaken, a startup focused on enabling the consumer transition to digital audio; Mercury, the global leader in business technology optimization (acquired by Hewlett-Packard); and Kintana, an IT governance software company (acquired by Mercury Interactive). He began his career architecting supply chain solutions and facilitating enterprise change management with Price Waterhouse for companies such as Cisco, Western Digital, and Xerox.

Chris holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University with Honors in Humanities. He currently lives the Bay Area with his wife and son.

Robert Brown, Senior Vice President of Client Services

Robert serves as the SVP of Client Services at Jive. He is responsible for Services, Support, Education, and System Integrator Alliances. Prior to joining Jive, Robert was the Vice President of Sales for Innotas, a SaaS provider in the Project Portfolio Management realm. Previously, Robert held executive positions in Professional Services with Mercury, Kintana, Oracle, Price Waterhouse; and US Steel. During his career, Robert has supported and coached the customer base of these organizations, working with client side executives to ensure maximum return on their software investments.

Robert holds a B.A. in Accounting from West Virginia University and an M.B.A in Finance from Cleveland State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Brian Roddy, Senior Vice President Engineering

Roddy has more than 15 years experience leading engineering teams and building market leading products. Most recently, at Cisco he oversaw a team of over 200 engineers, building mission-critical, high-performance networking products. Roddy joined Cisco through the acquisition of Reactivity, a leading XML gateway provider, which he co-founded in 1997. Prior to Reactivity, he was a senior scientist at Apple.
